Delete your account

You can delete your LienWarden account yourself at any time, from the app or the website. Deletion is immediate. There is no waiting period and nothing is held back.

From inside the app or website

Log in and open your Dashboard.
Scroll to Account at the bottom of the page and open Delete account.
Enter your password and confirm.

By email

Write to support+lienwarden@9gg.app from the email address on the account. We confirm the request with you and delete the account within 7 days.

If you signed in with Google, Facebook or X

Deleting your account also deletes the link to your Google, Facebook or X profile. We keep nothing from that profile except the name and email shown in your account. If the steps above ask for a password you never set, email us as described below. Removing LienWarden from your Google, Facebook or X account settings stops that sign-in but does not delete your LienWarden account.

What is deleted

Your login: email address, password hash, sign-up details and plan status.
Your workspace: every tracked project and deadline, every alert, and every demand letter, notice of intent and preliminary notice prepared in it.
Any QuickBooks connection. The connection tokens are revoked at Intuit and removed from our servers.
Any paid plan is cancelled at once. Stripe keeps invoice and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

What is kept, and for how long

Copies in encrypted backups and server logs age out within 90 days, as set out in the privacy policy. A certified-mail letter that was already handed to the postal carrier cannot be recalled. Support emails you sent us are kept for two years.

Deleting the account does not change any deadline in the real world. Export or note anything you still need before you delete. LienWarden tracks deadlines and prepares documents at your direction; it is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
